I added a utility bar to my customised Streamline Pro theme and followed these instructions

how to add Font Awesome in the right widget area.

Having placed what seems to be the right code into a text widget I dropped in the widget area 'utility bar right' I am not seeing the actual Font Awesome icon appear. I just get the text I put in html a href, in this case, the email. I have no idea why I am not seeing the fa-envelope icon.

Anyone installed font awesome manually as per that link above, and any ideas on the problem here? Tnx.

I've now (in addition) put the Font Awesome code snippet in the header using Theme settings<header & footer but I still can't see the font icon in the utility bar. Should I be adding something to CSS too?
    Tnx
