I am using a custom theme on the Genesis Framework. I have the Features Posts widget installed and it seems that every 3rd post formats as the image on top and the text under instead of image left justified and text beside it. I have looked in the CSS, PHP and spent a great deal of time on Google as well as emailed the theme designer for help. So far, I can't seem to figure out what to edit to stop this from happening.

Second, I would like to rename my menus on the mobile view. Right now all 3 says MENU. I would like to make it clearer to my readers what each menu is (top menu, main menu, footer menu). At the moment I can only edit the MENU and it changes for all 3 menus. I can't figure out the code for editing them individually.

You said a custom theme by a theme designer? You contacted the designer, but who is it? Which theme is it? Link to your website? And what plugin? Genesis comes with the Featured Post widget. It is not a separate plugin.
