    Is there a way to show featured posts (in the slider or in a widget, for example) from a certain tag, or only from categories? I'm using the Metro theme.

    You can set what you want in the slider settings if you are using the Genesis Responsive Slider. Set whatever category you want. There is also a line to exclude pages or category id's.

    Thanks anitac. I figured out the categories, but I would love it if the slider could feature posts from a specific tag instead of a category. Do you know if this is possible, and if so, how to do it?
