You can show the entry title by default. Was there something else?

Thank you for your answer, but I did not mean entry title (title of the post) - sure we can see it by default. I give some name and small description to the image of the post and it's not the name of the post. On single post page it could be seen under the image and I want the same when I pass the post to home page with featured post widget. That's the question.

Ok so i think you mean the ALT text or image description. The only filter you could use is the genesis_featured_post_title filter.

I've looked through the code and I am afraid I can't do it myself. I have only basic knowledge of php. Probably it very simple task for a pros but unfortunately I am not one of them.

Not simple. Where did you want to display the image title?

We start post with main Image, we give it some name in caption field (not ALT text) and this name I want to have right under the image on Home page. It should be: Image under it Image Name under it Post Title and the last excerpt.
If you could help me it will be great!
