    The Genesis Featured Posts widget is amazing, just what I want -- except I need it to give me the option of Pages instead of just Posts.

    Is there some other way to get featured pages instead of featured posts?

    I wonder why the widget only does posts. Or maybe I'm the only person in the world who would find it useful.

    Also to mention there's the Genesis Featured Post & Featured Page widgets that are included with the Genesis framework. The Genesis Featured Page widget may be your answer!

    The Featured Post widget is great, but it only does posts.

    The Featured Page widget only does one single page, which you "hard select". Doesn't have a shadow of the robust features available in the Featured Posts widget.

    I'd love it if the Featured Post widget let you select Posts or Pages (or both).

    Yep! I'm building a web site, not a blog. Need custom template feature and hierarchy of pages, and time of posting (for posts) is irrelevant.
