    Why is it that the only thumbnails that can be created when using the Featured Page widget are all in dimensions that always wider than taller?  202 x 140 and 590 x 250....  Or square (150 x 150)

    I have a client that is a book author, so the images that I want to feature (ie., her latest book) are taller than they are wider.

    Can't you create one "thumbnail" that is 140 x 202 - or anything in that perspective?????

    Thanks.

    Add new image sizes in your child themes functions.php file

    /** Add new image sizes */
    add_image_size( 'home-featured', 280, 100, TRUE );

    in that syntax you have ......add_image_size( 'home-featured', 280, 100, TRUE );

    which is width and which is height?

    Thanks,
