Is it possible instead to display the Featured Posts for the Portfolio section in Modern Portfolio Pro to display Featured Pages with the same structure? If not how can I remove the comment section, author box for the specific Blog posts?

Hi, I believe you are able to do this in the Widget section under Appearance.

Log in to your WP-Admin Dashboard
    Go to Appearance then Widgets
On the right you will see the Portfolio Section.
On the left drag the Genesis-Featured Page widget into the Portfolio section.
This will then let you set the Title, the page to display, a thumbnail of the featured image, etc.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers

No, it does not have the same function as the Featured post, you can only display one page and I would like to have 3, do you know any plugin with this functionality? Thanks

You could pull in 3 of the Featured-Page widgets and specify the Title, page, and thumbnail for each separately. You could then dive into the css to edit the format such as margins, padding, etc.

The featured image does need to be the proper thumbnail size, but I'm not sure thats the issue here. Do you have any screenshots or code I can look at? I'd love to be able to help you out.

I created the graphic in AI, and the images have the proper size 320/240 px

    Thanks!

clotairedamy - you said you used 3 Content conlumns to get this to work. Can you describe that in a little more detail, please?

    Thanks!

Just to help everyone out, I contacted Studiopress support, and though they could not provide me with any coding help, they did provide this link. Here's how to use Featured Pages instead of Featured Posts in the portfolio section of the homepage.

How to use Featured Pages instead of Posts in Portfolio widget area of Modern Portfolio

    Enjoy!
