I am moving from the gold Lifestyle them to the Genesis/News theme. In my old them there was a "thumb" custom field that would pull the image I put in that field into to featured image on my home page, next to each post. When I moved to the new Genesis/News them it is pulling in other images for some posts and no image in other posts. Can you please tell me what the new Genesis/News them uses as the featured imaged displayed in the featured post widget or archive?
The themes now use WordPress' built in image features. You need to set a featured image for each post or it will pull in the first image attached to the post.
