Is there a way to make Prose use the "featured image" as the header image, only falling back on the default header image if no featured image is specified?

    Thank you!

This code works, but it overlays the featured image over the regular header image, and takes all the formatting away from the site title and description: http://pastebin.com/jbd0Q3d4  What am I doing wrong?

To keep the formatting you need to keep all the divs and other tags the same or create new rules for the tags you're adding. And the custom header image applies the image to the #header div so using that div in your code may take care of that issue as well.
