Failed to import demo data

Just getting set up and I'm trying to import the demo data per these instructions:

got the following errors:
Failed to import portfolio-type Landscapes
Failed to import Media “development”
Failed to import Media “design”
Failed to import Media “consulting”
Failed to import Media “featured-1”
Failed to import Media “featured-2”

Failed to import Media “innovation”
Failed to import Media “telecommunications”
Failed to import Media “environment”
Failed to import Media “antarctica”
Failed to import Media “coeur-dalene”
Failed to import Media “himalayas”
Failed to import Media “matterhorn”
Failed to import Media “patagonia”
Failed to import Media “rainer”

Failed to import “Patagonia”: Invalid post type portfolio
Failed to import “Coeur d'Alene”: Invalid post type portfolio
Failed to import “Antarctica”: Invalid post type portfolio
Failed to import “Matterhorn”: Invalid post type portfolio
Failed to import “Mount Rainer”: Invalid post type portfolio
Failed to import “Himalayas”: Invalid post type portfolio

I'm guessing the "portfoilo" is not an option with my child theme?
Any idea why the images didn't load?

Oops... turns out I didn't have the child template activated. I activated, then re-imported. That took care of the "portfolio" errors. Still have the "media" errors.

Looking at @Susan suggestion.... these are from the demo XML. Not from another of my websites.
Also, looking at the XML code, I can't seem to find any references to media files with those names. I can find
-Titles
-alt=
-post_name
...but nothing that says "media" to me.

Sample data included with Studio Press themes do not include the images you see on their demo pages. The import file contains the demo content for the posts, comments, and categories, with gray placeholder images. The images shown in the demo are not licensed for redistribution with the themes.
