    Hi Folks,

    I want to have a home page which have extracts of blog posts, say the first 100 words. I know this is quite easy to do - except that the line breaks all get taken out, making the post-extract quite unreadable. I want to hook readers in and get them to read more!

    So is there a way of including extracts without taking out the line breaks?

    (On my site http://www.briefmindfulness.com I currently have some code using the grid-loop. It works OK but it displays the first post in full, and there are some formatting problems (especially on a mobile).
