    Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to achieve the kind of shrinking header bar that is used on this site: http://www.dotcomweavers.com/

It seems quite popular nowadays. Can I achieve this with CSS or a WP plugin, or am I going to have to learn JavaScript? 😉

    Thanks in advance,
    si

    Hi,

it´s done with jQuery and css.
If you have access to Altitude Pro, you can take a look at the global.js.
You could take that code and the associated css classes as a starting point and adjust it for the theme you want to use it in.

    Thanks for your reply Christoph.
I recently bought the whole Genesis package, so perhaps I can cannibalize the code in Altitude.
I think this is a sign that it's time to hit the JavaScript vids on Lynda, surely they can't be as painful as the PHP ones that I've recently been hacking through lol.

    Thanks again,
    si
