    Hello! I'm using the Executive theme at this site, and I've modified the code to add a second "call to action" widget area without the dark background so I can have a full-width blog section. I've added a Featured Post widget to this widget area and have adjusted the widget settings so that the featured image of the post is left-aligned with the excerpt, but this is not happening. Also, the right edge of the section extends out past the rest of the page, which isn't acceptable either.

    I'm really stuck on how to fix this. Can anyone assist, please?

    Wow. I'm completely appalled at the lack of response to my problem. Support's really fallen since moving to these new forums.

    Padding issue. Change the last "70px" to 1px.

    .executive-home .home-cta-2 {
    background-color: #ffffff;
    float: left;
    padding: 25px 70px 20px 70px;
    width: 100%
    }

    Thanks for your suggestion. It didn't work, though.

    Besides that, the padding is identical to .home-cta (the original Call To Action widget) and it renders correctly.

    If I put any other content in the field, it's fine. It's using the Featured Post widget that is causing the error.

    I'm really surprised that no one else tried to help - totally a different place, that's for sure.

    For the record, I got it resolved with the help of a friend of mine elsewhere. It seems I had inadvertently omitted the line

    -moz-box-sizing: border-box;

    from the style code for the second call to action box. Put that in, and presto, it's fixed.

    That only works for firefox, make sure you add these other ones for other browsers. also i think IE is ms-box-sizing, not sure though.

    .widget-wrap {
    -webkit-box-sizing: border-box; /* Safari/Chrome, other WebKit */
    -moz-box-sizing: border-box; /* Firefox, other Gecko */
    box-sizing: border-box; /* Opera/IE 8+ */
    }

    I'm not sure why support has fallen off either. I know carriedils.com and brad at wpsites.net are still helpful on a lot of topics. I think part of it is the switch to html5 and gen2.0 in general, a lot has changed and a quick reply with a solution takes longer to transfer and make sure it applies to something new.
