Executive Pro Theme Customizations

Hi, I'm new here and I'd like to know if there is a simple way to customise Exec Pro to utilize full width ( genuine full width ) not 60%, not 80% but full 100% of available screen area. From what I've learned so far you can do it with Header and footer area's but I'm struggling to learn how to widen the actual content body area. I'm not a developer so I brought the Genesis Design Palette Pro because it said I could modify without knowing how to code but that hasn't helped me at all. I have already overspent the budget and the wife is giving me strife ---- I NEED help lol.

Is there a kind soul out there that understands this stuff and can give me some simple directions on where to go to learn what I need to to make this all work.

Hi Alan,

you should only have to remove the max-width from .site-container around line 487 of the style.css:
.site-container {
margin: 0 auto;
max-width: 1140px;
}

Hi Christoph,

Thank you for that. Just knowing what to adjust has made a huge difference. Rather than remove it completely I've decided to change it to:

.site-container {
margin: 0 auto;
max-width: 95%;
}

When I removed it - it created a horizontal scroll bar so we have decided to go with the above. the website I'm working on is http://actions4superaffiliates.com/AWL

I've only just started so still got a long way to go..
