Hello!

I would like to make the slider text area background white instead of black? I will also need to make the text black instead of white.

Does anyone know how to do this?

To update the black background of the excerpt, update this section in your stylesheet:

.content .genesis_responsive_slider .slide-excerpt {
	background-color: #222;
	filter: alpha(opacity=100);
	height: 100%;
	margin: 0;
	padding: 4% 5.5%;
	opacity: 1;
}

To change the text from white to black, update this section:

.content .genesis_responsive_slider h2,
.content .genesis_responsive_slider h2 a {
	color: #fff;
	font-size: 20px;
	font-size: 2rem;
	font-weight: 700;
	text-transform: uppercase;
}

.content .genesis_responsive_slider p {
	color: #ddd;
}

thank you and thank you! - Susan I have another question you may know. On the Executive Pro theme, would it be possible to have an area directly under the slider for text? I am thinking this would have to be done by someone that can tweak a theme, but am just wondering if it's possible??

Hi @all,

I also wanted to change the background of the slider excerpt. I used this code to have some transparency:

.content .genesis_responsive_slider .slide-excerpt {
background-color: #222;
filter: alpha(opacity=70);
height: 100%;
margin: 0;
padding: 4% 5.5%;
opacity: 0.7;
}

But whereever I change it, it does not work. I tried it in the customizer additional css and also in the style.css..

Whats wrong?
