I tried to design pages in the Executive Pro Theme using Siteorigin page Builder plugin. When I save the page en try to view it, nothing is shown on the page.
Is itpossible to even use Siteorigin plugin on tghe Genesis Framework?
If not, is is possible to use the Default Executive Pro home page builder on other pages also?

December 18, 2015 at 2:00 pm #174279donnasealyMemberI'm trying to utilize the Executive Pro child theme in wordpress and have the Genesis Framework. None of the samples are coming through for me to simply just replace the information with my own in a premade page built. What am I doing wrong or is there an issue with the theme all together?

Have you requested your free website audit yet?December 19, 2015 at 7:00 am #174322Victor FontModerator@nofus: While I'm not familiar with the Siteorigin page builder you are using with Genesis, as a general rule of thumb, Genesis child theme home pages are widgetized templates either called front-page.php or home.php. These are located in your child theme directory. Genesis does not have a built-in page builder. What you are calling a page builder is standard WordPress widget functionality.
The questions on this site are answered by volunteers just like you. We can help you with Studio Press theme questions, but we can't help you Siteorigin questions because we wouldn't have access to that tool. You may have to ask you question in a Siteorigin forum to get a proper answer. If I may make a suggestion, perhaps you should spend a little time learning about some of the standard WordPress functionality. I have free video training on my site that you are welcome to use. Because of the licensing agreement I have with the author, you need to register to use the videos, but they are entirely free and you can watch them at your convenience. http://victorfont.com/wp101-training/training-registration/

December 20, 2015 at 4:15 am #174385nofusMember@victor front. I know that external plugins are not supported here. But as my issue is Genesis related I am convinced I ask the question in the right forum. Also, promoting your own website here is probably very good for your website rankings (you now have a link on a authority website), but IMHO not the way to go.
I do understand the way WordPress works, also how Genesis is build, that's why I stated 'like a page builder'.
Sorry, but I rather have people help with my question than offering me free training on topics I am already familiar with.

If you have conflicting scripts, it also won't load. For example, if you already have loaded the flexslider based Genesis slider then you will have to not use that slider and deactivate it and use the one with Site Origin (which is newer). You would check with your developer tools to see if there is a conflict.
I test Site Origin's site builder in two SP themes last week, it worked fine, after I deactivated any scripts on my theme that use similar classes (like Modernizer, FlexSlider) and so forth.
I don't like it, but html and css is faster to design with for me.
