For some odd reason my slider has decided it will no longer display at the full width of the site container.

All of my images are sized at 1120 x 500, while the genesis slider settings remain at a max width of 1140 and max height of 440.

I have used the regenerated to regenerated images, but that did not help.

Could you give a link to the website? Easier to help you that way 🙂

Unfortunately, I don't have the site up live. Its being developed locally.

I do know that the computed value for the size is stoping short at 1020. Can you tell me where this value is being computed from? Which line of code?

Are the images in the slider set as featured images, or are they being pulled in from images in your posts/pages?

Try making an image at exactly the same size as the Genesis slider settings (1140x440) and set it as a featured image.

Sorry, I just realised that I misunderstood your problem. Hang on a while and I'll try something else...

I just tried making a local install of Executive Pro and set up the slider to try and trouble-shoot the problem, but it works OK on my local server with the image dimensions that you are using.

I'm sorry that I'm no help - I can't explain why your version isn't working, but it may be worthwhile submitting a support ticket directly to StudioPress, and mention the odd computed value that you noticed.

I hope that may be at least a possible lead and a small help.

One thing to check is that you are using the Genesis Responsive Slider and not the Genesis Slider. The Responsive Slider is the one used with Executive Pro.

    Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Using //www.diffchecker.com, I was able to find the problem. It was a simple misplaced comma after editing the css that prevented the style from taking effect.
