    Hi,

I'm using the Essence Pro theme and getting a message that says "Sorry, no content matched your criteria." I want the home page to just serve as a landing page but now, because I haven't yet built out the content for the rest of the site. Is there an easy way to remove this message, at least for now?

    Thanks in advance,
    Carolina

That message displays because you haven't added blog content and you haven't configured the widgetized home page. So what you need to do is create a Page and add whatever message you want to that page. Then go to Settings > Reading. Set the Static page as the new page you just created and set the Posts to the Blog page. Then the new page becomes your home page.
