    Hello.
Essence Pro has a two-column layout for archives, but the archive page of my new post-type (create with Custom Post Type UI plugin) has a one column layout. How can I make this take the two-column setting of the theme?

Link to the CPT archive page on your site please.

1 method would be to look at the CSS for the default archive page and use that to style the CPT archive the same way.

There may be other ways to do this as well.

I'm developing the site locally, so I can't give you a link!
I'm a beginner, I've seen which css are applied, but I don't know how to apply them to my archive page.
In any case being an archive page should it not have the same layout as all the archives?

Sometimes yes, but not always. Try applying the default CSS to your CPT archive using the class for your CPT archive.
