Entry & sidebar top margins

Can anyone tell me the right way to make the blog entry and the sidebar widget on the same line. Essentially I want the social icons to be in line with the most recent entry title. It doesn't appear that way in IE or Chrome.

I had to do this with my theme as well. You just need to add some padding to the top of the .sidebar like this:

.sidebar {
color: #999;
padding-top: 30px;
padding-top: 3rem;
}

To my eye, 30px seemed about right. (The main area is 40px, but you have to account for the line-height of the heading, etc.) Change the values as needed. 🙂
