Enterprise Pro – need help formatting responsive primary sidebar

I'm using Executive Pro and I use the primary sidebar to display a 3rd party form. When the primary sidebar kicks below the content responsively, the primary sidebar goes full width and makes the form displayed there look unattractive. I'd like to control the width of the sidebar in this location (say fixed at 400 px) and also keep it in a centered position.

I've tried all my usual css tricks along the lines of "width: 400px; margin: auto;" and have not been successful.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Where have you been placing that style?

In your media queries, under "@media only screen and (max-width: 1023px)" add:

.execphpwidget .formbox {
     width: 400px;
     margin: 0 auto;
}
