    Hi all,

    I am using the Genesis - Featured Page in the Home - Top menu of the Enterprise Pro theme.

    In the widget I can control whether to "show page content" and the "content character limit".

    But what I am trying to do is add a custom excerpt (manual text) to that specific area.

    I've added this code:

    add_post_type_support( 'page', 'excerpt' );

    to the child theme's functions.php so that I have the manual excerpt field on the page editor.

    My question is: How do I get my manual excerpt in that spot on the homepage?

    I am referring to this area: http://screencast.com/t/nWnQHpmL

    Thanks in advance,
    Mikael

    I don't think the Genesis Featured Post widget supports that. I know the standard archives does.

    You could use another function for that or another widget.

    If its only one widget, maybe just copy and paste the excerpt HTML into a text widget in that area,

    Thanks Brad.

    I am not quite sure where I would get the entire except HTML from? If I remove the Featured Page widget, then I'll also loose the image, the button etc. and I don't want that.

    Thanks,
    MIkael
