    Please can anyone share the reason why the header image is showing in the centre and not on the left (as the code shows it should be doing, using google developer tool). This is driving me nuts!

    ps. Also, if we increase the header space height, will it stop forcing us to crop the header image??

    You have the following directive in your theme's style.css:

    background-position: center top !important;

    This forces the image to align center and because it's flagged it as !important, it overrides any other setting. You'll find this code in the .header-image .site-title > a code block on line 1054.

    Victor, you are just the greatest! 🙂 ....I didn't realise that we could click on the css from the developers tool and see everything so not only have you solved the problem but you've given me a wonderful 'tip' for using it in the future. Thank you so much!
