How do I add navigation arrows to the menu?

When there are child pages i would like for the users to see some sort of indication that there is more information below, left, right, etc.

How do i get them to be dynamically created whenever there are child pages?

Setting the uniqe ID for each parent page gets tedious.

Furthermore, it doesnt look like I can have 2 dashcons. So if i want the drop down arrow, that means I cant use the dashcon i would actually want.

I shouldnt have to spend 5 minutes making dashcon php and css edits to get something as simple as a drop down arrow!
