    Hi, I think I followed the instruction properly to increase my header area for a logo. Logo looks great - however it is covering the menu now. Developer says I'm going beyond the scope of their tech support. Can anyone help with figuring this out? It is live now but making my website not function as it's cover the menu. In safari it's covering half the menu and in firefox it's covering the top part. I can't highlight it in Firebug either for some reason.

    Just add padding-top: 42px;

    like so

    .nav-primary {
      background: #fff;
      border: 1px solid #aba9a9;
      margin: 0 0 35px auto;
      max-width: 960px;
      padding-top: 42px;
      width: 100%;
    }

    I would also look at it in mobile to make sure it works.

    Also if the developer doesn't support CSS, not sure what they do. Hit me up if you need more help.

    You should probably go to your theme developer for help (http://prettydarncute.com/genesisthemes/)...they have excellent tech support and could probably get you going very quickly.

    Hi, as mentioned previously, the developer originally told me that this is considered beyond the scope of what they offer for tech support. But, now they are trying to help me figure this out, maybe they saw me come over here after I was told that 🙂

    @itzsnider:

    Also if the developer doesn’t support CSS, not sure what they do.

    Theme support at Pretty Darn Cute Design, just like at StudioPress, is confined to getting your site to look like the demo; updating a theme beyond the demo's functionality is customization 🙂

    We are happy to provide customization tips as time allows, but we need to make sure that we have time to provide the best possible service to all our customers, and unfortunately, there are not enough hours in the day to provide customization assistance to all our clients.

    For this reason, we recommend our customers learn how to use tools like Firebug, so that they can learn how to customize their own site. We are available at our hourly rate for tweaks which are beyond theme setup support.
