    I am using Eleven40 and I'm really trying to figure out how to work with the navigation menu. I was successful in changing the background color, however, I'd really like to extend the color bar to the width of the screen. Does anyone have any questions on how to do this? I've tried to use

    max-width: 1140px;
    overflow: visible;

    However, the background color disappeared on me with the overflow code.

    Thank you.

    I'm not sure what color bar you're talking about? I'm also not sure what CSS selector you're saying you tried adding max-width and overflow to? If you're wanting to make the black textured bar at the very top of the page another color, you just need to change the background to the .site-header selector like so:

     .site-header {
    	background: #f00; /* red */
      }

    Hopefully, that's the bar you're talking about! 🙂

    Thank you. I somehow downloaded an old version of eleven40, not the pro version. I figured it out! Thanks so much.
