    I am looking for the sub menu text colour in the menu list, not the colour when the mouse is hovering, I have that brown. The white text does show well with the background colour.

    Hi,
    I your style.css, search for

    .genesis-nav-menu .sub-menu a {
        ...
        color: #fff;
        ...
    }
    

    and change "color: #fff;" to your favorite color.

    I found the following and added it to my custom css.
    Thank you very much, I have been fighting this for a long time.

    .genesis-nav-menu .sub-menu a {
    background-color: #78a7c8;
    border: 1px solid rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.05);
    border-top: none;
    box-shadow: 3px 3px rgba(70, 70, 70, 0.2);
    color: #fff;
    font-size: 14px;
    padding: 14px 16px;
    position: relative;
    width: 200px;
    }
