Editing Footer in Infinity Pro

I've done this before, yet I can't figure out how I did it, lol. I noticed my footer in my website is still showing copyright 2018. I'd like to update it to show copyright 2018-2020 is all.

I can't seem to find where I made this edit before so I can update it.
Any ideas? I was thinking I had done this through the customizer before...

Customizer>Theme Settings>Footer

...but that has short code which doesn't correspond to what the footer shows. Editing there doesn't change the appearance.

Go to Appearance > Customize ?–? Theme Settings > Footer

That should do it.

Make sure you empty cache and refresh.

Yeah, that's actually the spot I mentioned that I had tried earlier. I must have made the change elsewhere because what shows there is the original short code that my edits apparently override.

I'm thinking when I made the edits, this spot in the customizer wasn't yet available, or at least I didn't know about it, so I must have made the changes elsewhere that override the short code.

And so now, no matter what I put there, it's not showing in the footer. Just trying to figure out where I made those edits so I can update it.

Found it.
I had added some custom footer code into the functions.php.

Deleted it, and now I'm able to make changes through the customizer.

All taken care of.
