    Hi,

    I'd like to edit the footer section on my site. I used the Genesis custom footer plugin, but the "Restored 316" credits still appears.

    I think this is where I'm supposed to edit in the functions php files:

    //* Customize the credits
    add_filter( 'genesis_footer_creds_text', 'darling_footer_creds_text' );
    function darling_footer_creds_text() {

    echo '<div class="creds"><p>';
    echo 'Copyright © ';
    echo date('Y');
    echo ' · Darling theme by Restored 316';
    echo '</p></div>';

    }

    Can I just remove this code completely and use plugin? Or how would I change it to be:

    Copyright © 2016 Woven Beautiful, All rights reserved.

    Thanks,
    Hannah

    You can replace the following line of code:

    echo ' · Darling theme by Restored 316';

    With this line of code

    echo ' · Woven Beautiful, All rights reserved.';

    Or you can use a plugin. I personally use Genesis Simple Edits. You may need to comment out or remove the function if using this plugin.
