I'm having a hard time with images being duplicated in my pages and posts on my site that uses the Smart Passive Income theme. Regardless of whether I establish a "Featured Image," the live page/post will display two versions of whatever image I put in my post or page.
Here is an example - http://www.becomingamagician.com/become-magician-landing-page/
It's the top version of the image, which is cropped and looks terrible anyway, that I don't want. I don't understand where it's coming from.
Can anyone help me out on this?
Not sure how to use paste.ofcode.org but I'll try. Here is the url of the page where I pasted the content of my functions.php file. Hope that's right:
Lines 172 - 193 are altering your featured image settings. I'm a bit out of it right now, but try commenting out (add // to the beginning of the line) or removing line 174.
If that doesn't work work, try commenting out 177. I'm not 100% sure what's going on here, so a bit of guess and check work is due. If I had the site running locally, I'd figure out what exactly that function does, but for now, give that a try.
Thanks Porter. I'll try that.
The confusing thing is that I'm not even designating the image as the "Featured Image." in this case. In fact I have not designated one at all. There must be some sort of automatic scripting going on that takes the first image and just makes it the Featured Image, maybe?
I'll let you know if that worked. Thanks again!
Porter - Commenting out 174 didn't work, but doing it to 177 DID!
Thanks so much!
