    Hi,

    I'd like to use pictures that span my whole front page before my content, so I'm trying to find the setting that will allow me to do this. Does anyone have any idea where it is, or whether it's a CSS or PHP setting?

    I've already tried changing the maximum slider width setting in the Genesis responsive slider settings, but my picture still gets shrunk down to 950 pixels. I'd like my slide to be 1152 x 300. http://sample2.tonibdesign.com/

    Does anybody have any suggestions?

    Thanks in Advance

    Have you regenerated your thumbnails? http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/. Also, your images need to be at least 1152px wide or wider. If they are not, the slider will not UPSIZE them to fit.

    It may be a slider settings issue not an image issue.

    Is there anything in the functions.php that defines the defaults? Like...

    /** Set Genesis Responsive Slider defaults */
    add_filter( 'genesis_responsive_slider_settings_defaults', 'agency_responsive_slider_defaults' );
    function agency_responsive_slider_defaults( $defaults ) {
    $defaults['slideshow_height'] = '300';
    $defaults['slideshow_width'] = '950';
    return $defaults;
    }

    You can view your functions.php file through Appearance=>Editor. The file names are along the right side. Be aware that making an error while changing your functions.php could take your site down. Be sure to backup first and to be careful with the changes.

    Anitac is right. If you uploaded your pictures and THEN changed your size you will have to regenerate thumbnails.

    Sorry, you are right on @SelenaD, just came off of a question on sizing the slider and misread the issue.
    Thought it was too ironic, it was :).
    Thank you!
