I've had this issue going on for about a year and can't find the answer after much searching. I'm using a customized Decor theme. I removed the blog front end and made it more CMS looking. I added a brick header background which required putting backgrounds behind the header menu items for better visibility.

The menu is a custom menu widget in the header right area.

In all the editing, somehow, the menu floats left below 800 px. I have included float: none; everyplace I can think and then added !important; to everything. All to no avail. On a device the menu floats left and looks bad.

My client thinks the site is ugly, in general, and won't even put the URl in her print ads. I'm trying to fix a few areas like this menu to improve things. Any tips would be much appreciated.
