    Hi all,
    We're using Outreach Pro and need to add a widget area beside the slider. I knew how to do this in the older version of the themes using the functions.php area, but things seem to have changed. Any tips?

    Hi pixelpointpress, to register a widget area you will want to use genesis_register_sidebar() and to call your widget area you will want to use genesis_widget_area(), all this can go in your functions.php.
