I am trying to add a DIV above the header in the Parallax Pro theme. I want to add an email address and a phone number. I have unsuccessfully tried the Simple Hooks plugin. I think it is not working because the site-header is fixed. But if I set to static, I get a large space under the header. Does anyone have any suggestions that may help me with this? Thank you.

Thank you for this. Unfortunately all I got was a grey space under the header. I was getting something similar to this when I tried to use Simple Hooks.

I just downloaded it from my account so I believe it would be the latest version.

Works in the Sample theme and most other themes but not Parallax Pro.

Parallax Pro has a fixed header position. When you create the div above the header, the div has to have a fixed position also. You would also have to move the header down to make room for the new div. This is all done in CSS. Brad's code will work, you need to adjust the CSS for the div.
