Trying to get a retina image to display for the header image. I realize how to do this with CSS but I am using a theme with the Genesis built-in header image feature and am hoping that I can get this to work without recoding the header image in the CSS.

I tried using retina.js, but it's not working. I also tried installing the WP Retina 2x plugin, but that's also not working. This is understandable, since that plugin uses retina.js as well.

It seems that there would be more information on accomplishing this with the Genesis header image feature. I am really hoping that it gets built into the framework on future versions. Or is it already built in but I am missing something?

Thanks for your help. This is the site I am working on: http://survivaltosignificance.com/

While it involves some small CSS, I did a tutorial on how to add a retina logo to the new Agency Pro theme which also uses the Custom Header function.

I know you don't want to use CSS, but it's not that much.

Jared, thanks for posting the link to your tutorial! It worked perfectly for me on the Minimum Pro theme.
