    Hello,
    I created three different templates:
    - Page 1 with Template 1
    -- Page 2 with Template 2
    -- Page 3 with Template 3

    Template 1 should now show the two child pages 2+3 with the templates 2+3. I created widget areas in template 1 and tried it with the Genesis Featured Page Advanced Plugin - but when I choose a page to be displayed with this widget, the template assignment of these pages is not taken into account - so only the content is displayed.

    How can I modify template 1 in a way that his child pages are displayed on page 1 including the used templates assigned to each child page?

    I tried it with:

    $children_array = get_children( $args );
    foreach ($children_array as $children_page) {

    If I use get_template_part here to include template 2 or template 3 I need to pass data from $children_page to it - how can I do this?
    }

    Anybody understands what I am trying to accomplish here and have a hint how to solve it?

    Thanks!!!!

    For some context, can you explain why you're not just using one page and one template?
