I've tried figuring this out but am drawing a big, fat blank.

I want my homepage posts to display as full content. And when you click on a pagination link at the bottom, I want those to display as full content, too. For the type of website I'm launching, this makes good sense.

But I only want excerpts on my archive and search result pages. I followed this tutorial:

    http://my.studiopress.com/tutorials/genesis-grid-loop/

In the settings, I set the number of posts to display on each page to three. And in the home.php I created, I set the number of featured posts to three. That resulted in full-content posts on the homepage, which was great. But every page thereafter (clicking the numbered links at the bottom) only displayed excerpts, and I believe just three.

So that didn't work. Should I just give up? It looks like I have two options:

    1) Display full-content posts on ALL pages.

    2) Display a certain number of featured posts on the homepage as full content, and then everything else as excerpts.

I'm really grateful for everything I'm learning, so please continue my education, okay!

    Cheers!

Have your tried the Genesis Grid Loop plugin - I believe it will do what you are looking for - full featured posts on the home page, but excerpts on inner pages (you need to adjust the plugin settings)
