Hey everyone, I'm putting the finishing touches on my first genesis child theme and was wondering if it's possible to display one set of social sharing icons at the bottom of posts on the homepage, but a different, second set of icons at the bottom on posts on individual posts. I'm currently using the Genesis Simple Hooks plugin to enter my social share in the genesis_entry_content hook, but that obviously triggers on both the homepage and post pages, thus the social share settings are the same. I this could correctly be accomplished within the functions.php, but I haven't been able to figure it out or Google-fu my way out of this. Much thanks if anybody can help me here!http://stage.heyitsfree.net
Use conditional tags
For the front page use
if ( is_front_page() )
For single posts use
if ( is_singular('post') )
Hey Brad, thanks for the tip, I ended up doing just that.
