Digital Pro – issue with slider in Front Page 1

This is my first time using Digital Pro. I'm customizing it to fit a clients needs.

I added the Genesis Responsive slider to the front page 1 widget area. I've made some CSS changes for sizing, padding, etc. BUT something is generating a height of 577px and I can't find where that is to change it. Here is the CSS generated:

height: 577px;
}

Also there is a fade script that hides the Front-page 2 & 3 widgets until you scroll down. How do I disable that?
