    OK, I purchased the lifestyle-pro theme because I wanted to try out genesis. I am a complete newby to the genesis framework.

    With that said I want a header on the front page with a slider on it. I did that by copying the header.php from the genesis framework and put it in my child theme. I replaced the do_action( 'genesis_header' ); with this code to make a slider widget area.

    /* Add custom slider widget area */
    echo '<header itemtype="http://schema.org/WPHeader" itemscope="itemscope" role="banner" class="site-header">';
    genesis_widget_area( 'slider', array(
    		'before' => '<div class="slider widget-area">',
    		'after'  => '</div>',
    	) );
    echo '</header>';

    My problem is that this header shows up on all my pages in the lifestyle-pro theme.

    What I want is to use the standard header on all pages except for home page. How do I do that in genesis?

    I figured it out.....

    echo '<header itemtype="http://schema.org/WPHeader" itemscope="itemscope" role="banner" class="site-header">';
    if (!is_home()) {
    	do_action( 'genesis_header' );
    }
    else {
    genesis_widget_area( 'slider', array(
    		'before' => '<div class="slider widget-area">',
    		'after'  => '</div>',
    	) );
    }

    echo '</header>';

    My issue is simple and I have followed everyone's instructions including Brad's. I have the Lifestyle pro theme which I love. All I want to do is have a different header for each page of my Primary Nav Bar Menu titles. I uploaded the WP Display Header plugin but when I go to upload my image which I made in PSCS5, it want to crop it to 320x110.

    My Header image dimension are 1135x399 which is on the home page. Can someone please tell me step by step where I have to go, this is too easy for me not to get & I am pulling my hair out as it is. Is it the style sheet or the theme functions.php files. Do I need to go through my CPanel in Hostgator? I am so dumbstruck right now.

    Please help

    P.S. Don't worry about the space at the bottom of the image, I want to put a horizontal opt in there, but I haven't figured that out as yet. Kinda like Marie Forleo's bar (http://marieforleo.com)

    Thanks a bunch guys. I am getting a glass of wine. I'm fried.
