Different Header in Cafe Pro Theme Pages Other Than Home Page

I am trying to customize the Cafe Pro theme on my site:

I would like to have an image at the top of the home page but have nothing at the top of my other pages in the site. I have used this code in the style.css file:

After the code:

.cafe-pro-home .site-header .wrap {
display: table-cell;
vertical-align: middle;
}

I pasted in the following code below it:

.page .site-header .wrap, .single .site-header .wrap, .archive .site-header .wrap {
max-width: 100%;
padding: 0;
text-align: center;
}

.page .front-page-header, .single .front-page-header, .archive .front-page-header{
background-image: none
}

but this did not do what I was expecting.

I like the home page as it is, but on all the rest of the pages, I want each page to start with the navigation and then just have a content area for me to populate the page with sliders, pictures, etc.

Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Could you elaborate more on what you WERE expecting?

I just took a quick look, and it seems like instead of trying to change things via CSS, you should try and figure out from the back end what is causing the output of the header on the other pages.

You will probably need to either unhook it, or use conditionals if you are using a widget to display the various front-page

for example: the background image (which I think you want to REMOVE, right?) is being called by inline CSS, not from your style sheet.

So probably try to figure out what in the wordpress code is causing the issue and fix it from the backend first before trying to tackle it with the front end css.

I noticed on that site that you figured out how to get a different background image on each of the pages. Nice work! I've been trying to weeks to figure that out, but to no avail. How'd you pull that off? Was it an addition or change to the functions.php file? Something in CSS tied to specific page names? If you're willing to share your trick, I would be MUCH obliged. Great work.
