    Hi there,

    I would like to set the Content Archives "Limit Content" to 0 and then have two categories (client's public blog categories) set to 300.

    Reason being, most of the blog categories are for a private marketplace where client wants excerpts set to 0 but they also have a public blog for two categories, where I would like to set excerpt to 300.

    Would appreciate if someone knows how to do this.

    There maybe a problem because of the Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archives and WordPress Reading Settings.

    Thanks, Brad. Unfortunately, there was an issue. Even though I had display post excerpts in the Content Archives, it still didn't work. But thank you for the reference; I read a few more of your posts while "there" and learned some good stuff~

    I think its over ridden by the Genesis or WordPress settings. Not sure how to fix that but normally pre_get_posts is normally the function to use,
