    ok, trying to use the default WP Gallery here so the new site is not tied to any 3rd party plugin for managing the photo albums. The last portion now is how do we set it so once the gallery is created, the thumbnails can be cropped to standard sizes on the page? It just looks so ugly when thumbnails are not the same sizes.

    Any ideas?

    Found out that I can sue Shortcode to resize the images but how do I add a lightbox effect in conjunction with Shortcodes? Anyone?

    Did you ever figure this out? I'm also using the default gallery and the thumbnails are way too small.
