[DECOR Theme] Category Descriptions

Hi everyone,

Just a quick question on how to implement Category Descriptions at the top of each category page with same CSS as posts. Is there a way to do this at all?

Are your category descriptions showing up properly and it's just a matter of tweaking the CSS?

If you post a link to your site, I can give you guidance with the CSS.

I have the very same problem in the site I am building.

You can see the problem here: http://angelsanz.me/category/reimaginaeldeporte . The description appears but obviously the css or something need tweaking...

how do I do this??? do I have to create a category.php in the child theme or something (the 411-pro theme)

@vinniepage, you are using the 411 theme. Check your Style sheet to see if you have this code:

.archive-description, .author-box, .breadcrumb {
    background-color: #FFFFFF;
    box-shadow: 10px 10px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2);
    margin-bottom: 40px;
    padding: 7% 8%;
}

I don't see it there with Firebug. If you do not have it - add it to the style sheet.

@CoolangattaDev, your code in the style sheet would look like this:

.taxonomy-description p {
    font-size: 14px;
    padding: 15px 15px 0;
}

You can use the .taxonomy-description to add more to it.
