    Hi,

    I would like to use the Home Top widget area and a secondary sidebar, but when I try to use the Home Top area the secondary bar disappear.
    I am wondering if someone can suggest a way to keep the secondary bar in

    Thanks

    The home widgets layout with "content-sidebar" for Daily Dish is determined in the page front-page.php. You want content-sidebar-sidebar, which involves some code changes. First make backup copies of the files before making any changes.

    In Dashboard > Genesis > Default Layout, select the icon for content-sidebar-sidebar.

    In `front-page.php', ~ line 21, change
    add_filter( 'genesis_site_layout', '__genesis_return_content_sidebar' );
    to
    add_filter( 'genesis_site_layout', '__genesis_return_content_sidebar_sidebar' );

    Because of these changes you'll need several changes to your child theme stylesheet, but they depend on what content you choose to place in the widget areas.
