I've recently purchased the daily dish child theme. http://www.fuzzymonkeyskitchen.com

I'd like some assistance with setting up the header. The demo just uses the site title, but I'd like to add a new fuzzy monkey character and the site title to the header section.

How do people go about doing this?

I've seen some themes that have the header images separate form the site title? How does this work in the daily dish theme? If I have to hire a logo design theme, what do I ask for? what sizes and or formats would work the best for the daily dish theme?

If i decide to change themes is the various size logos I purchase or create need to change too?

    Any suggestions or advise?

    Thanks,

    David aka Fuzzy Monkey's Kitchen

It looks like Daily Dish has a logo image size of 80px tall and 400px wide. It is set in the functions.php file and then there are also width and heights set in style.css. The logo image will be centered in the header, just as the text is.

To use it, in your WordPress dashboard, click on Appearance > Header. That will take you to the Customizer for the Header, and allow you to upload an image that will be your logo. You can crop it, if needed. Then click the blue button, Save & Publish.

If you need a different size for your logo, post back the exact width and height in pixels.
