    Hi Guys,

I'm looking to buy the Lifestyle pro theme, but the colors don't suit me.
Is it hard to change these site wide?

And also, how hard would it be to change the landing page that comes with the theme templates?
I was hoping to get a full width landing page with an image background, maybe a video and an optin box.

Would I need to get someone to do that for me?

    Thanks in advance,
    Maggie

Depending on what exactly you're going for, you could use a full-width page, insert your video and opt-in, and assign it as your home page:
    http://demo.studiopress.com/lifestyle/layouts/fwc/
    https://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Static_Front_Page

To get an image background on that page only, I'd just add a line of CSS targeting that page ID.

As for changing the colors, you'll need to do a little functions and CSS editing: http://wpsites.net/web-design/change-color-theme-genesis/

Does this help get you going in the right direction? 🙂

    Best,
    Lauren

I just wanted to thank you for posting the link to http://wpsites.net/web-design/change-color-theme-genesis/. I found the instructions very clear and it was very easy to make my theme look just as I wanted it to.

    Thanks again.
