Customize Responsive Layout or Remove it?

I am working on a blog and the responsive layout looks horrible. I would like the default to be the full site...but not sure how to do that?

Look at the very bottom of your CSS - you should see the Mobile CSS settings. You can remove that completely.

I found the below in the genesis framework style.css but not in my child theme style.css. Is it okay to touch that css stylesheet? And if I do remove it will it still size accordingly to phones, ipads, etc.?

No, never modified the Framework itself. When you say you want the site to be the default layout - I am assuming - just as a regular website - no responsive elements. So if the Default if non-responsive - how will the end user select a way for it to be responsive. Your title is Customize it or Remove it.

I didn't  think I should edit that. Yes, just as a regular website, like http://www.familiar-fare.com on mobile.  Because the responsive layout looks horrible, I would rather just remove the option.
