I'm building a website using a custom genesis child theme. I want to add some stuff to the blog section of the site. I aldready achieved what I wanted using a wp page and a custom page template with a loop, but then I get the same content twice, once one the custom page and once on the actual category.
What I want is simply to have two categories: Blog and Archive. The blog category will contain new posts and the archive category will contain all previous ones. Both categories will look exactly the same.
I tried copying the arcive.php file from the genesis folder to my child theme folder, and adding the functions there, but no luck.
