Hi, I've installed a child theme (Enterprise Pro) that i'm heavily modifying. I'm experienced with php, html and css, but not so much with WordPress.

Just wondering how I can create my own custom widget areas in the layout? Specifically I want to create three widgets right under the header nav plus a shopping cart widget to float right of the logo. (I've installed WooCommerce and the wooConnect plugin)

Any pointers would be much appreciated thank you.
